How funny! A friend of mine took my daughter to an animal auction in rural Nebraska. They saw emus there and even got to hear the thumping noise they make in their chest. Cool experience.

WOW! I have only seen turkeys, large snapping turtles, deer and moose. Emus (?) don't live here.

I hope they weren't auctioning emus, emerging! Emus are native to Australia. I doubt they'd have permission to sell them. As far as I know, any emus outside of Australia would/should only be in zoos.

Yes I knoow emus don't live over there, Ink, except in zoos, because emus are native to Australia. They are just a bit smaller than ostriches, I believe.
