Camouflaged Frogmouths!

Well, I did tell you that frogmouths are good at camouflaging themselves!  hehe

 For those of you who couldn't see the second frogmouth yesterday, here it is:

I just asked my daughter what predators she thought frogmouths would have, & she replied "me"! (She doesn't like being kept awake at night by their calls - which I like to hear - nor the scarey red eyes of some of them.)

I can see it now but, I had to look for a while before I figured out I had been seeing it the whole time. The red eye thing helped. Ugly critters!

Hi SJ, frogmouths aren't owls. They eat insects like moths, snails, slugs, small mammals, very small birds, & unfortunately sometimes frogs too (I like frogs).
