| Yellow Rosellas & a Restless Flycatcher? |

Maybe this has inadvertently become a birdwatching blog?! In my front garden this morning, enjoying the birdbath, were six Yellow Rosellas (parrots) & a Peewee. I took this first photograph through my front screen door: The Rosellas were rather shy, & kept flying away as I approached, but here are some of them, in two different trees:
Lastly I was alerted to the presence of what I think is a Restless Flycatcher, by its unusual call, like a circular siren, but also percussion-like, & it's quite loud. This photo was taken through my back screen door. The Flycatcher was sitting on my laundry trolley:
It is somewhat similar in appearance to a Willy Wagtail. They have different calls, but there is some similarity.

I like that this has become a sort of birdwatching blog. So few birds to see in Bangkok...I saw an Indian roller once, with my class, all green and blue and beautiful, and you would've thought we'd been living in a cave how elated we were. Poor deprived urbanites are we. I like the pics very much. Thanks for your comment on my blog, and yes, it is sooooo hard to find clothes when you're slightly larger than average, especially in Thailand, where the average woman is like size -10 (and I'm not exaggerating by much). The Restless Flycatchers are pretty :)
