On the morning of the 23rd of November I dreamt that I was told that I had one month - or less - to live!

I told one sister about my dream & she told me that a week beforehand she had a premonition that I was going to die!

Both sisters suggested I have a pap smear test - thanks, girls.  :-(

One of my brothers asked for my pin number "just in case".

The other hasn't replied to my email, hopefully because he hasn't read it yet.

My mother said "you'd better clean out your cupboards" & "have you sent your Christmas letters yet?".

I am forbidden to tell my father, because he'd worry.

Guess what I've done?

Nothing!  tsk tsk  However if I _knew_ that it was true, I'd do ... er .... something!  I couldn't travel to Europe however, because I don't have a current passport.

What would you do?

There appeared to be a drainage problem under our showerbase, so my significant other had to remove it to investigate.  He warned me that he'd have to take out the lowest layer of tiles in order to remove the showerbase, & I thought that that was bad enough. 

Well, the tiles and showerbase were removed, then the entire shower cabinet, surrounding wall & floor tiles....now we're back to bare boards, concrete, & even the bare earth around the drain!

Yes, he became carried away!  We've ordered a new large triangular bath (over which we'll also have a shower), new tapware, new vanity basin, & we've chosen new wall & floor tiles.  SO will replace the vanity cabinet's benchtop with timber from our own farm!  I might post an update in ~ three weeks, once it's all finished.

A bunch of these cute birds were pecking at the window the other day:

I think they're fairly young birds, hatched in a nest in a tree in our garden, & that they were pecking at their own reflections.

My 13 year old went fishing on the weekend, with the boys next door.  He kept dodging behind trees to avoid having his photo taken, but I persisted:

My son was surprised to see what he thinks was a tree kangaroo, seemingly defy gravity.  They're rare, & I've never seen one.  You can see a couple of them here.  Here's a good close up.

My daughter's been trying to work out what to wear to her highschool Awards Night:

 I prefer the second from the left, however I'd like to see the gorgeous sequinned red top with the skirt.

This amused me:  sophisticated runway looks, yet in the background we can see her dumped school port, socks & shoes!

I guess Mummy's little girl isn't quite grown up just yet?!  hehe
